Majority of my work features images and cut outs I have gathered for years.
For this piece, I stumbled across some old magazines on a particular difficult day and decided to make a small joyful piece of work. As always the process of cutting out and juxtaposing these elements is a huge part of my practice. Food and drink are key factors that crop up in my work to signify nostalgia and growth and I love how they sit against the peaceful backdrop of watercolour in this piece.
