Usually I paint very zealously and inspirationally, but there is a state of inner concentration, almost meditative, when I want to create something more calm. The result of this work was a series of paintings "Stripes". Compositional simplicity allows me to focus on the contemplation of the internal state, on the subtle overtones of emotions, allows the color to express itself and fully affect the viewer. Thanks to the rhythm and the different scale of the bands, you can hear the “sound” of the picture, glancing smoothly at them, to catch the tension and pauses, the “voice” of each of them.
