This Painting embodies the desire to isolate something important and peer at it, some small fragment of nature and life, which contains so much greatness and power. Northern nature inspires me: huge boulders, cold waves, dense forests. There is something brutal and sobering in it, less friendly to people than in the southern regions. The picture is solved in large forms, through the cold colors there is a hot glow in it.
