A selection of Spring flowers which I picked in the garden and froze in ice. I think this is a very beautiful and unusual view of flowers. It doesn't always work
and it is very much a case of trial and error in the way the flowers are arranged before they freeze and then the way the flowers appear through the ice. I love this technique and will continue to experiment with different flowers before choosing the best to work on and print on to art paper. The paper used for printing the flower work is a Giclee cotton, matt watercolour type, mould made paper. It is very delicate to handle and needs to be framed with care. The finished product appears to be an art print rather than a photograph.
