Original artwork description:

There are always lots of colourful boats and buoys scattered about on the sand when the tide goes out in St. Ives harbour.

I am increasingly working in a painterly manner, leaving heavy brush marks and making use of thick layers of paint in parts of my work to provide texture or Impasto. These brush marks are an integral part of the artwork and it is difficult using photographs to capture all the differing brush strokes, the colour variations and other nuances within the painting.

Each artwork comes to life in response to different lighting conditions as the light bounces off the ridges in the paint. Finding the best position for a painting in a room is important to enhance and attain the best effect.

By taking advantage of the Artfinder 14 day free returns guarantee, you could have the artwork delivered to your home, allowing you to see it in the flesh, with no obligation to keep it should your expectations not be met.
