Original artwork description:

Taking it's name from the Spanish for 'mermaid', this piece is a reflection on mythical tales of sirens and their allure for sailors at sea. Told over centuries these tales have become part of modern terminology and although few may believe in their factual grounding, they continue to captivate and mesmerise many.

My hope is to create pieces that will interest and inspire conversatian as well as be aesthetically captivating. Usually partly concealing the narratives, I intend to give space for teh viewer to find their own meaning within each work.
