About Ben Stephenson
Biography
I am a British artist inspired by notions of the 'Exotic' and its misinterpretations as well as myths and narratives surrounding it. For this reason I have traveled to Latin America to confront and challenge some of my own biases and misconceptions as well as to learn more about another culture first-hand. My paintings are usually oil on canvas but I am now also exploring other mediums with natural pigments and their uses. I want to share my work with as wide an audience as possible and so I have explored different sites for doing so. It seems to me that Artfinder is one of the best and so I would love to utilise this site for my limited edition prints as well as oil paintings on canvas.
