This drawing was made around the time as 'Dancing Forms' and so shares some similarities in the way it was made. I began with a blade that forms the cutting edge of a spokeshave, which is an old rather beautiful tool (form).Think pattern and tessellation. In this drawing I used the eraser working with shading and rubbing to make a softer image. As it evolved the idea of a ruined city or an architectural landscape emerged.
