About Nicholas Everitt

  • Biography
I have always drawn and sketched and would like to share my passion for drawing; it is very simple but there are a million ways to make a mark !
I have always collected small ( mostly) things that catch my eye, i love beach combing .
My work is organic and fluid, sometimes very detailed and slow and sometimes fast , quick and very physical .
My current work is large and revolves around some small objects that i have collected over the years.I found drawing round them gives them a new life of their own; a new way of seeing.I have overlaid them, tessellated them, and created patterns with them; the possibilities are endless!
This way of working is fun and very childlike and releasing as well. The works take quite a few weeks to complete until i am happy to release them.
