Model Alex Bruni as the subject of Impervious.
When I met Alex I was immediately struck by her vibrant personality. Painted in the early days of Spring 2017.
Being locked indoors over the drabbest months of the year (due to a broken foot) her humour and strength was a welcome presence in my studio, which is what I tried to capture in the painting.
