Another image in my 'Boats & Cottages' series. I like playing with shapes and images within a painting. Here we have the lighthouse guiding the way into safe waters for the sailing boat. The lighthouse is accentuated by the framing between the boat masts. However, as always creating a narrative for the viewer to think about, is it the boat that is heading for home (to the left outside the area framed by the masts) or is it the hot air balloon encapsulated within the triangle? You decide. This painting comes with a small double frame for immediate hanging free of charge. If you don't like it change it to one of your own choosing (for example if it doesn't fit in with your room decor) and reuse or recycle the frame elsewhere as a gift from me.
