Original artwork description:

The sea arch is a great motif for me as it creates a strong focus in a coastal seascape and allows the sky colours to shine through when I print the stencil of the rocks. This isn't a particular view, there are many sea arches around the UK, so it's an imagined one: the sea arch is a symbol rather than a known view in this piece.

I used rollers and dabbers to spread out the ink then made marks with a cloth and other tools. I built up layers of over-lapping colours by printing several times. I incorporated textures by impressing inked up wallpaper and fabric. I also used paper stencils to make the crisp edges.

Supplied with a high-quality acid free double mount. White inner, pale cream outer. Flat packed in a strong box with plenty of protection. Tracked throughout its journey.
