Since Chocolate Eclairs are so delicious, I decided to try to capture this feeling of excitement and satisfaction in eating a chocolate eclair. While I now eat healthy, I am experiencing the joy of eating a chocolate eclair through my painting. It was a challenge to try to capture the creaminess of the chocolate icing and the red cherry on top. In addition it was a "fun" painting and gave me happiness in painting it. I found a perfect black floater frame to encase it in so the entire painting just sits in the frame and doesn't hide any of the edges. Just love "floater frames" which give paintings a new, modern look.
