It took a while for me to appreciate avocados, but as of this year, I began to crave it occasionally with my breakfast or lunch. This image is of one of the many that I've eaten (very tasty with a little salt, spread over some oat crackers!).

I love to compose the subjects with a black backdrop, so your focus isn't shifted. I initially painted the background a mid taupe colour but I felt that the avocado blended into the background.

The sides are finished in black.

This item will be shipped via Royal Mail with a 2nd class stamp, in a cardboard box.
