My name is Ulyana Korol and I’m ukrainian artist based in Spain.
I think, that the nature is the most skilled artist. That’s why I never feel the lack of inspiration, aiming in my works to show its bright, unique and fragile beauty noticed by me. I draw my artistic inspiration from travelling. A lot of amazing subjects often make me literally "hunt" them with the camera. My passion for photography, especially for capturing in macro format has had an impact on my art. The image of a large, very close-up flower on the whole canvas has become my speciality. Particularly fascinating are looking my large peonies. Subsequently, the idea of macro capturing has been also applied to my paintings of water, paying attention to the observation of refraction of light in water, its reflections.
The main idea of my art is to transfer the emotion of happiness and also love to nature. My canvases emit warm light, brightness of colors, love of life and positivity.
I work with different sizes of canvases. For more juiciness I use the technique of palette knife oil painting. It makes me delighted to be able to combine pastous textured brush strokes with the image of a graceful bending of a flower petal or the transparency of water.

From an early age, painting has been an integral part of my life. I grew up immersed in art, attending various painting studios, exploring different techniques, and eventually graduating with honors from art school. My passion for creativity led to my first solo exhibition at just nine years old.

Living in a culturally vibrant city, I actively engaged with the art community - visiting exhibitions, attending events, and drawing inspiration from fellow artists. I seized every opportunity to paint, continuously refining my artistic vision. However, as life unfolded and I became a mother of three, my creative pursuits took a temporary pause.

As my children grew older, I found myself reflecting on my artistic journey, asking, “Why not nurture the talent I was given?” In the summer of 2014, I felt an undeniable pull back to my passion. With renewed dedication, I picked up my brushes, invested in high-quality oils and canvases, and began painting with even greater intensity and purpose.

Since then, I have been deeply committed to my artistic career, actively participating in exhibitions and showcasing my work in both solo and prestigious international group exhibitions. My journey is one of rediscovery, passion, and an unwavering pursuit of artistic excellence.
