My work has always been inspired by humankind, more specifically their still-cut image of brief emotions and thought.

People have their own signature colour and pattern of characters expressed by kaleidoscopic emotions, often used as metaphor for thoughts we can’t explain.  Sometimes we have to examine this very carefully in order to reveal the origin of thought which is maybe the truth and beyond.

This is why I am interested in people, and they came from daily life such as journeys I made, great book I read, and unknown people’s memorable face passed by me.

Each moment, I keep a close eye on what they do, how they feels, what they think, and visualize their real life based on their face expressions, distinguished poses, and situations that it happen.

Since the key concepts of my painting are mostly people's emotion, it often express with wild, dissonant colours, without regard for subject's natural colours. The poses of the subject are subtle and even a bit cagey. The faces are secretive, cast with shadows and light expressing beyond.  This is how I understand people in the world and excavate the way myself interacts with others around me.

Above all, this is my way of understanding for the truth of life embracing despair, loss, beliefs, joy and all of expectations to survive.
