    I re-use all my paint jars and sometimes I soak them in water for a while. How lovely to find the paint in a jar left soaking in water had formed itself like this!

    An incredible sunset as I was closing up the studio. Winter isn't my favourite time of year but I think the sunsets make up for the cold the days are now getting longer again!

    This is my trusty palette knife. As you can probably see from the layers of paint on the handle - it is a well used tool of my trade! In fact, I use it on every single painting I make.

    I'm working on a big piece this week and when I'm 'in the moment' I'm totally unaware of what is happening to what is around me - including my clothes. Seems like this session was particularly messy and 'in the zone'!
