About Lena Balger

  • Biography

Lena Ritchie is truly passionate about the amazing beauty of nature. She processes it through her vision and feelings and lets it flow onto the canvas. She captures not just the picture, but the life itself, full of colorful sun reflections and good vibes to reconnect with the most amazing creation of nature - human being.

Her art is a way to express the dynamics and changes in her personal life. Lena can relate with people who had abusive parents, dealing with addictions family members, divorced parents. She has experienced how serious the damage could be from witnessing domestic violence, especially from people you love, and how it can lead to heavy depressions. Painting helps her keep depressions and deep dark memories at a distance. She wants to share the joy, peace and excitement she finds in the process to help others.

She went through it all as a child and adult, and it took everything she had to fight through and break the circle. Her goal is to support and encourage men and women like her to be strong and let the damage heal with the help of her art. She wants to keep open communication and have supporting conversations with people who are looking for someone to talk.
