About Julio Campos

  • Biography

The Universe vibrates at different frequencies, some of which we as humans are able to attune to. These sounds of differing frequencies created by the strings length are also relevant in my work as sound has a physical impact on our world creating harmonic patterns to take us to a cosmic symphony of exploration and discovery.
Thread Portals are created by cyclical divisions of twelve showing correspondences with the zodiac, months, seasons, hours, minutes, octave, angles etc. Thread Portals are harmonically proportioned as is always found in the rhythm of the universe. The colours and mood of Thread Portals constantly morphs depending on the light conditions.
