Shooting in the streets of Mumbai

At the very beginning of 2020, I found myself walking the streets of Mumbai and documenting quiet little encounters that stood out amongst the sensory overload that is India's most densely populated city.

    Shooting 'An der Putlitzbrücke' 2019

8am Walks is a series built upon one simple instruction: Leave the house at 8am with a camera and walk. This ongoing series seeks out colour and vibrancy in Germany's grey capital, and catalogues a specific time of day with a unique pattern of light. Kreuzungen - Behind the Camera

Neukölln Stories is a project comprising seven participating artists who live in the neighbourhood of Neukölln, in the south-east of Berlin. In July of this year, each artist was invited to begin a new project responding to the neighbourhood, and to later present their work within an exhibition at LiTE-HAUS Galerie in November. Six of the artists were given the task of selecting shops in Neukölln to investigate through their artwork. Kreuzungen is a project investigating the nine intersections that lie in-between.

    Neukölln Stories - Interview

Interview of artists who collaborated on the exhibition Neukölln Stories, LiTE-HAUS Galerie + Projektraum, 2020. LiTE-HAUS & nomadicArt collaborated on a project that explores the shopkeepers of Neukölln, Berlin - pairing them with local artists. This video shows the culmination of months of work between the artists and shopkeepers, to create a diverse exhibition that reflects the cultural richness of the "kiez". Thanks to the members of nomadicArt, artists, shopkeepers, and Pablo Hassmann of Magma Studio (who made this video).
