About Gianluca Cremonesi

  • Biography

Welcome Art lovers! I am an Italian artist based in north of Italy, near Milan.

My paintings are greatly influenced by my love for the nature and traditions of Japan, a country I am really enamored with. This passion led me to paint a whole series of painting dedicated to the land of Rising Sun called "My Japan"; each painting of this set, has its own history and an emotional value. Looking at them I am able to remember exactly how my mood was that moment when I was laying down a brushstroke one after another.

My greatest satisfaction is to recognize that someone feels the same emotions looking at them. It does not matter if my paintings are considered good or not as long as they left an impression on the viewer.

Recently I like to paint stormy seascapes with strong waves and vibrant colors. Among my works you can also find paintings of the countryside where I live, Still Life and paintings of the Italian Alps.

Some of my paintings are part of private collections in Italy, USA, Japan, Canada, Finland, England, Ireland, Australia, Hong Kong and South Africa.
