About Fedor Lantsov

I was born in a dinasty of  artists in 1961. As far as I remembered myself in my childhood I drew and painted. I thought that everybody could draw. I finished The Art School in 1978.

I graduated from Volgograd State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering in 1987 then worked as an architect , as a 3D -designer .To my regret I didn't pick up a brush for 20 years till October 2020. Now coming back to fineart I understand how much time was lost.

Most of my works are inspired by masterpieces of Raphael and Michelangelo and classical sculpture. I am attracted to strong historical figures among women.

I focus on figurative paintings mostly woman's images trying to discover the inner beauty of a woman, the depth of her soul .

My works address universal themes : love, honour, purity, inner  strenght.
