Exhibition "Kryvyi Rih Artistic" This photo is from a recent group exhibition, an open circle organized by curator Kateryna Levchenko. The exhibition project "Kryvyi Rih Artistic" aims to identify and emphasize the artistic box of this city, which remains little known to the general public. This exhibition revealed the city's potential not only as an industrial giant, but also as a center of contemporary culture and art in Ukraine.

    Impressionists

    Impressionists

Impressionists are artists who felt like outcasts in the world of traditional artists but eventually became the founders of a new trend in the art world. I would like to dedicate this work to the Impressionists of the 19th and 20th centuries. When I was a third-year student at the university, I wrote a term paper about the differences between two impressionist artists: Edouard Manet and Claude Monet. First of all, I was inspired by the Impressionists with their thirst for light, color, and painting in general. This was the beginning of my fascination with Impressionist artists, and I began to study them. This painting is an attempt to convey the idea that attitudes towards Impressionism have changed over time, and now the works of the Impressionists are respected and appreciated all over the world. However, for some time, the Impressionists were alien to the more traditionally minded artists of the time, and this painting reflects this historical trend. It was in the 19th century that the advent of industrial production technology made it possible to manufacture lead tubes for oil paints. This made it possible for the Impressionists to leave their studios and paint in the open air. The Impressionists used new techniques such as brushstrokes and light effects, which allowed them to convey their impressions of the world around them more accurately and emotionally. This was an innovative and bold step, as previously most artists painted their pictures with an eye to the canons, reflecting a more conservative view of art. The Impressionists were the beginnings of what we call "modernism" in art today.

Which painting was the hardest to draw?

Which painting was the hardest to draw?

Probably the most difficult piece. that I had to paint is the painting I'm working on right now. Since I did not compose the composition of this picture in advance and did not make preliminary sketches for it. Therefore, I am gradually moving towards its finale. And in the course of work, I think whether I need to add this or that element, whether it will spoil the painting . I overcome these difficulties along with the work when I paint it. P.S.: At the moment the painting is finished and available for sale.

A process on the painting "Unity"

A process on the painting "Unity"

There is an exciting movement spreading throughout the world today to achieve unity of worship. This movement brings together people of all nations, tribes and languages. Their unity is not. is always the result of a compromise. Compromise is not obtained by the approval of a way of life, which each people has its own, as well as its own culture. How is this unity achieved? This unity is acquired by people of all backgrounds who look at other cultures, for example when traveling, and willingly bring into their lives the harmony drawn from other cultures and ways of life of other people. One way or another, we all live on the same planet Earth. Everything that surrounds us is connected in one way or another: people, nature, animals, architecture, technology, machines, infrastructure, etc. My character goes through each of my paintings as a participant in certain events. For example, on the previous canvas: “Talking about the war”, I am depicted drawing in the open air in nature, which symbolizes my state of how I experienced these events, for example, when already in the spring, more or less, if you can call it a stabilized situation, and I began to go out into nature to draw, distracted from the news and media, that is, I experienced it in my way. In the picture "Unity" I drew my character in several epistases, as a reference to various events in my life, because one character is from 2018, the second from 2022, and the third from 2019, 2022. That is, these are all different stages of my life, which are specifically associated with something. The picture "Unity" - shows the different periods of my life and the associations that I have left from certain stages lived by myself, my friends, memories, relatives, and acquaintances. These are all frames and flashbacks of experienced moments, mostly bright ones and where I was in a lifted mood, on courage. Therefore, “Unity” is memories and associations every year, since I have people, memories, things, travels, and trips. All these things are connected by Unity, this is the unity of all spheres of life and people, things, situations, animals, and just some objects, all this is interconnected and united in my life. My character in the painting confirms this by walking through my paintings. Size Painting: 39x39 inches (100x100 centimeters)

    Artwork: "Talk about War"

-🚶🏻‍♂️At first glance, the painting seems as before February 24, but this is because we had to adapt to the new reality. A reality in which a bad russian is engaged in the genocide of the Ukrainian people. - 🏃‍♂️ Thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, life continues in the cities. Coffee houses, shopping centers, and other establishments that people visit while continuing to live are open. 🏌️‍♂️- To compare how much we have changed consciousness, remember when we were told about the Second World War at school. In our images, terrible pictures appeared, such as devastation everywhere and everyone suffers. Therefore, when a war is going on next to us, it was a shock for us becouse working cafes, and shopping centers, you can go to the store, take a walk in the park, etc. - Of course, we are used to sirens and others. It's just impossible to get used to when people die. – We continue to live, but our new reality is accompanied by disturbing moods, like a swing from one side to the other. And this is now the norm. – What is shown in the picture!? -🚴🏻‍♂️On this canvas, I painted situations that I observed from my own life: Market, Crossroads, Pedestrians, Biking, Coffee meetings, Street musicians, etc. Ordinary life situations. Also added elements of urbanism such as traffic lights, poles, road signs, trash cans, etc. -🕴🏻Handwritten phrases symbolize the general mood of people. - 🧍🏻‍♂️And there is talk of war everywhere: jogging, standing in line, passing by a stop, at the checkout in a supermarket, at a gas station, right on the street. Children have new games: checkpoints, stop cars, and check for patriotism. And this is also a new reality. -Grateful to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to continue to live and draw 🇺🇦Everything will be Ukraine 💛💙✊🏻

    Mixed Media Paintings

    Mixed Media Paintings

I am interested in using mixed media in my painting. For example, the work "Rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine ". I wrote it on a panel, which I pre-coated with a fine-grained texture paste and glued pieces of newspaper that are in the sky area with the help of the paste. Then I applied ground coffee and wood shavings.
