About Alan Brunt

In 2011 I was hospitalised for 3 months with a serious illness. During this time I was revived from death twice by the medical staff, since then I have found myself to be sub-consciously obsessed by colours and the contrast between dark and light and often display this in my work.
After my discharge from hospital I began to paint as I had lots of spare time and found it very therapeutic.
I continue to paint almost every day and continue to experiment and to learn.
I try to keep my artworks affordable, as this is important to me.
