Figurative painter working in oils with a great affinity for Spanish subjects, capturing metaphorical views of that country and its culture. The style is predominately expressionistic in manner coupled with a bright and high tone colour palette.Whilst maintaining traditional working values his paint surface quality is layered thick and thin achieving a varied spacial framework. His work can be found in various national collections in the UK and worldwide.
