    So Proud of this Commission!

    I am so proud of this commission art piece. It is entitled, "American Farmers Feeding the World". I was contacted by a company out of Canada that supplies farming bins and equipment all over the world. They saw a painting I had for sale of the same title. They asked if I could do one similar but much larger and insert some of their equipment. They wanted to install it on a "International Wall" at their American division headquarters in Illinois. The wall contained artwork from every country they service by artists of that particular country. I am so proud to represent my country with my art.

    I do my best to never copy another artists artwork and make money off of it. But it is thought to be okay to create them for yourself or your family as a gift and not infringe on their copyright. When my granddaughters visit I love to have their room decorated with Grandpas' gifted artwork. So I created 29 artworks for their room.

    "Honor the Trees" project

    "Honor the Trees" project

    Almost have the next few projects ready for posting. A word about the "Honor the Trees" Project. I am working with my neighbors who run a Kentucky Artisan company called Hands and Feet Designs. I met them one night over a fire pit and discovered that they discarded wood cutouts from their plaque products. We decided to work together so we could save the beautiful wood from the fire pit. So I am putting original artworks behind each piece to Honor the Tree that provided the wood for our products. Each piece may have minor imperfections but so do we as human beings!
