About Victoria Clothier

  • Biography
I have two main styles of working. That is traditional using brush and palette knife. The other style is what I call my Illustration style - more contemporary. Apart from my subjects of Bristol.  I like to paint Seascapes of Cornwall or from my imagination,  and Landscapes, flowers, and animals. I am interested in texture and like creating what I call, 3D collages, especially of Seascape's. I do commissions of places and pets. I have a shop/studio unit in St. Nicholas Market, Bristol. England. Where I work 6 days a week. I like the work of Old Masters such as John Constable - I love his sky's, and the impressionists such as Claude Monet.  I also like the paintings of Wild Life Artist David Shepherd and Envirmental  Aritst Kirt Jackson.
