About Szilvia Sztankovits

  • Biography
Szilvia has been studying and making art for 15 years and collected inspirations from all the countries she lived in: Hungary, the US, Germany, Netherlands and Bali. She left her home country at 21 in order to be able to study art and go for adventures, get to know herself better. She ended up living over 11 years abroad to follow her passion, studied and tested herself on various levels. It is clear that making art became a big part of her life, and her dream is to bring joy with it for others as well. The journey of creation has been continously full of amazing discoveries and also serious self development. Her inspiration comes from nature, such as the colors of exotic forests and the beaches of Bali, spirituality and healing, her environment she lives in such as urban cities and their fascinating architecture. She is happy to be able to express herself in different mediums such as painting (what she started more intensely only recently) and photography. She always wanted to paint, so her plan is to develop herself further in this medium, while continuing with photography. Earlier she used acrylic paint on canvas, oil and soft pastels, lately she is experimenting with aquarell and guache on paper.
