    Ancient myths are an inexhaustible source for learning and inspiration. So is the myth of Icarus. A beautiful metaphor for the eternal striving of man to fly, to rise above everyday life with its monotony and countless small and meaningless details that makes it up. But here we also meet the Hubris, which is the main lesson in this myth. When one is flying and raising his mind, it is very difficult to protect himself from haughtiness and spiritual arrogance. The ego begins to play a bad joke on its own. The illusion that he sees more clearly, that he understands the nature of things in their essence and perceives the absolute, leads to a loss of connection with reality. That's what happened to Icarus and it came to his fall and doom. Ignoring his father's advice not to fly too close to the sun, he became drunken with freedom of flight and felt equal to a god, which inevitably led to the punishment by the gods.
