Biography
I'm an emerging artist inspired by nature, creating works where even the smallest things have their place. I employ classic techniques as watercolor to create subtle color harmonies, relatively static compositions and simple forms using the immediacy and spontaneity of the medium, making up imaginary, dreamlike scenes, sometimes as taken from children's books, in a minimal and illustrative style.
I'm very influenced by the classical Chinese and Japanese ink styles and the way they achieved mystical atmospheres just loading the brush with ink or watercolour to get subtle tonal gradations.
