  • Biography
The important experience for my painting starts from the watercolor, drawing first and then painting. The watercolor gave me the possibility of working the acrylic, I started as a figurative and I was transformed when I saw Rothko in an exhibition in Spain, I left a vibration that I froze, I felt a great bond and I started to totally lose the reference of the drawing .

Currently I work the oil and acrylic looking for transparency, using thin layers.

When I start a work there is a ritual, prepare for where to pull up. For me every day have to do with color. When I get to my workshop I feel ... it's like the one that comes to a kitchen and wants to prepare an inspired dish with the flavors and aromas, for me the color is the reference. Sometimes inspiration is not achieved, but I always need music to paint. I love Miles Davis.

The color is the one that guides me. It's like I have an orchestra. The acrylic allows me to work immediately and continue to put layers on because it dries fast.
