About Lydia Lee

  • Biography

I am a painter based in Seoul. I am interested in expressing dynamic movements with lines related to baroque. Inspired by a very complex and enormous structure of nature and architecture. This baroque rhythm is tried between abstract and figure in my painting. It expresses the passage of time through the relationship between an object and its description.

My picture starts from the memory of a very private place. However, the memory is constantly changing, and it is interesting that the work is done. 2019 is a meaningful work as a result of the immersion in the combination of fast brush strokes and colors.
