She is thinking, contemplating, looking back over her shoulder and asking questions, asking for more, marvelling. Asking ‘what if?’ The ambiguity of the word ‘wonderer’; the curiosity and awe, but also the doubt and uncertainty. Each time we look at her we see her in a new light. Everyone will have their own ideas about what she is thinking, but I shall leave you to wonder about that!

Painted in a textured style, using various mediums to manipulate the consistency and structure of the paint. A free and spontaneous technique, implementing a palette knife to smear and blend the colours, creating unknown, impromptu outcomes.

Framed in a 45mm wide Italian ebony frame made from solid pine. Crystal clear 2mm acrylic glazing. Shatter proof and 20% clearer than glass. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity attached to the back of the frame.
