Original artwork description:

ORIGINAL Painting by Nikolay Sologubov (Sologub)

Harvesting is celebrated in accordance with the old tradition. The roots of this tradition date back to the times of Ancient Rome and Ancient Greece. People brought gifts to the gods - they put fruits and cereals in baskets, which symbolized the return of part of the harvest to the Almighty.
Every year people continue to thank nature for the harvest they have harvested.

This painting created in bright colors immerses us into Dionysian motifs.
