About Tina Castrignano'

I have been making art for nearly wenty years: watercolour, pastels, clay and alabaster sculpture, oils.
Water miscible oils are perfect for the thin surface, the delicate veiling, the subltle shifts of colours I want in my paintings.
I paint quiet shapes in slight variations of colours, moulding light and shade; whether they look objective or abstract, I want them to be  not only and not completely real.
I exibit my work yearly together with my painting group; these last  years I have been a finalist in three exibitions held in Genoa .
Part of my work is in private collections.
