About Tilly Print

I am a painter, printmaker and sculptor with a love for working with natural and recycled materials. Especially wood, which I like to experiment with and enhance its natural characteristics. I carefully choose pieces of timber for woodblocks with an interesting grain that shows through in the print. The material usually directs me rather than the other way around.

        I am influenced by Japanese woodblock printing, in both method and aesthetic, but look to bring a contemporary twist.
