    Here are some photos from the bronze foundry showing some of my sculptures during the casting process. The lost wax casting method is an ancient practice - it is a process that takes weeks to complete, from casting the original piece in wax, adding runners and risers to help the flow of molten wax, building up a ceramic shell, pouring the molten bronze, breaking open the shell, cleaning up the bronze and then finally hot patinating the bronze to give it it's colour and interest.

    In my studio in Kilburn finishing off a portrait sculpture of a client in clay. This was then moulded professionally giving the client the option to cast in bronze or another material.
