About Susan Cantor-Uccelletti

  • Biography
I have always painted realistic pictures, but in the last 4 years my interest has been to express my feelings. After being diagnosed with lymphoma and then losing my granddaughter I was influenced by my life experiences and found that painting expressive abstract a comfort, I realize that not only do I enjoy creating, but also get great gratification. I found that "ART HEALS _ THE BODY< MIND & SOUL"!
I create with a lot of movement and texture using palette knives  of all sizes and shapes, squeeges, paper towels and my fingers.
I only think about balancing my colors, the forms just seem to come from within me without thinking. I like to start by picking my colors and my tool of choice that day and let my energy and emotions take over.
