Biography
My name is Ruveena Dsouza and I am an artist, designer and creator. I am an introvert, who loves to have one on one conversations especially the ones that nourish my mind and soul.
My style is surrealistic with people portraits as subject matter. Most of my artworks are based on introspection and looking within ourselves. My medium is acrylics on canvas and photoinks on paper.
Art has a universal way to stir up emotions that are generally hidden within us, whether you’re creating art or viewing it. My painting journey restarted again when I was in a self-discovery mode and became a way of journaling my thoughts and emotions through painting. Which led to ‘soul_stirring_art’ on instagram. This is my humble way to make each one of us pause and look within.
