I often work late into the evening if I'm in the mood for it. Daylight bulbs are a godsend

A photograph of me, taken in my small studio at my Suffolk home. I'm lucky enough to have a dedicated art studio at the back of my house. Although small it is ideal for my purposes, a peaceful haven overlooking my garden where I can work in comfort, undisturbed, all year round.

    The Young Joe Frazier

    The Young Joe Frazier

Here I am pictured close to the completion of a portrait commission for a boxing fanatic in the midlands. This was created with graphite pencils on Stonehenge paper and was presented framed and ready to hang to it's new owner. I rarely work to commission nowadays unless it is a subject or composition which particularly interests me, preferring to work up my own ideas rather than having restrictions placed upon my creativity by someone else. However, as a lifelong boxing fan myself I was pleased to take on this one.

    Life sized German Shepherd

    Life sized German Shepherd

This photograph shows me standing next to a life sized drawing I completed a while ago which I was particularly proud of. Portraying my own dog it was completed with graphite pencils on Stonehenge paper. With a length of approximately five feet in total it is the largest piece I have attempted to date, although the most difficult part was the framing.

Relaxing at one of my solo exhibitions in Aldeburgh, Suffolk. This particular exhibition in fact was shared with my good friend Tom Jones, a wood carver.
