  • Biography
They say beauty will save the world. But if it saves me, it’s already a small win. I am an anxious person, I always seem to have a reason to worry about one thing or another, but the rhythm of the world today and the never-ending stream of news only make it worse. In 2019 when I was searching for my inner self and my theme in art, I decided to challenge myself and paint every day, making creativity part of my everyday life. As part of the challenge, I started my graphic diaries, posting them on my social media networks. For me this experiment became an exploration of everyday themes, but that was not all: it turned into an exploration of my anxiety and a way to live with it. Painting every day, when it’s not always possible to break away from the routine, is sometimes inconvenient, but in a sense it translates into a method, a field study of simple things, an ability to see not even their beauty, but their character and charm. An ability to be here and now, to find beauty in imperfection is a therapeutic skill not only for me, but also for those who view my works. My paintings and drawings are an appropriation of a moment, a tiny part of life and an attempt to make this big crazy world more comfortable, an attempt to experience complex emotions in public. There’s no doubt about my art being very personal, where everyone can learn about themselves, find peace, beauty or experience complex feelings together with me. And for me, this is a moment of understanding life - I am and I exist. My art is about the love of life and every particle of it.
