    Soldiers in the Museum

After an international tender by the Reutlingen Art Museum in autumn 2020 for the purchase of woodcuts, 21 artistic positions were selected from the applications. All woodcuts are currently shown in the Reutlingen Art Museum until March '22. I am very happy to that my work "Soldiers" now is part of the Museum's collection.

    Cutting new woodcut "Hiroshima"

Working on my woodcut series "Nuclear atlas". Here I am cutting a detail from Asia, Japan, showing the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, which is a ruin serving as a memorial to the people who were killed in the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. The series "Nuclear atlas" is a growing world map, consisting of prints and printing blocks.
