About Nadin Sergeenkova

  • Biography
Hello! My name is Nadin, I am an associated member of Pastel Society of Russia since 2020. My favourite mediums are soft pastel for realism and acrylic and inks for abstract paintings. I focus mainly on animalistic genre, because I admire the beauty of all creatures of the Earth and I get my inspiration from the connection with wildlife and the spirits of the 4 elements of nature. During the lockdown period this year I created an art project 'Extinction of Species' which consists of little stories on topic of contemporary ecological issues. Some of these drawings were exhibited at Saint Petersburg galleries in 2020 and also short-listed and received awards at the international art exhibitions, such as American Art Awards 2020 (2nd place-tie in category 'Impressionism. Animals" and 4th place-tie in category 'Political Statement'). My aim is to share through art the vision of global eco problems with the large number of viewers and to get involved them to environmentally conscious material handling.
