  • Biography

I am always looking for poetic images that represent my interpertation of the world. Dream, fantasy and reality come together in my work. My ideas are about life itself. About identity, relationships, emotions, life and death. A central theme in my work is man. A vulnerable man with a biting spirit. Wanders in time and the world of today. I puzzle with all kinds of associations to create a new world. It's about to be or not to be. About the vulnerability of people in general, and a human in particular. It evokes images and fragments of stories. These images create new images.

I work in different techniques such as graphics, and ceramics. I also draw and paint. Because of these different approaches, I keep testing my ideas over and over again. Every technique demands a new approach to the subject / design. I find it interesting and it ensures that I always look with new eyes. I like to build my sculptures with clay. And the next moment I grab my knifes and cut the first lines from a fresh piece of linoleum.
