  • Biography
    I am a classically trained artist from Russia, Saint Petersburg. I started drawing and painting at around 4 years of age. Art is my main form of communicating with the world around me. Friendships, travels, family relationship all is seen through art. I've been painting for the last 50+ years, through my success, awards and such as a commercial artist , my lifeline was and is, painting. I paint everyday figurative and cityscapes are preferred subjects, but in general I paint what speaks to me at the moment. My main medium is watercolor. Recently I joined CWA and was admitted in every juried art show. I am a member of IWS and my painting was juried in to the Fabriano in Aquarello exhibition, 2020. I am a refugee and was granted USA citizenship in 1985. I escaped Soviet Union so I can have freedom to do the art that I want. I live and work from my studio in San Francisco. I am a member of City art gallery and Portola Art gallery
