About Louise Forster-Smith

  • Biography
I'm obsessed with colour, shape and form. My unique abstract art is playful and bold as well as meditative - both whilst I'm creating it and for the viewer, drawing from nature and relationships - with something new to see each time.

I work mainly with acrylic on canvas, but also like to use ink and paint on paper and card.

I grew up in Devon, studied Fine Art Critical Practise at Central St Martins in London and Visual Performance at Dartington College of Arts in Devon. I now live and work in Bristol with my husband and two boys.
