About Julia Tan SH

I am a self-taught painter.  I started painting in year 2012.  I created my artwork with inspirations drawn from my own perceptions on nature and visions from my dreams including the unseen world.  My strength is to study the obscure peculiar style of an art-piece which I have created and infused with a meaningful story.  My painting direction is all about free-spirited impressions captured through visual from the surrounding scenes and dreams.  It gives me a great sense of achievement to be able to create an art-piece that is as close as to the given innate visions.

I joined Artfinder since 2017 to sell my paintings and was given the commission to produce artworks too.  I have been actively involved in donating my paintings for charity fundraising since 2018.  My notable achievements are listed as follows:

1. On 11th May 2018, my painting "A Beacon of Love" was auctioned for SG$15,000.00 in the SHINE Charity Auction by People Association of Singapore.

2. On 2nd Nov 2018, my painting "Koi Fish" was auctioned for SG$2,500.00 and "Over Blooming with Joy" was auctioned for SG$2,000.00 in the Singapore Cancer Society Charity Auction.

3. On 12th Apr 2019, my painting "Courageous" was auctioned for SG$2,200.00 in the SHINE Charity Auction by People Association of Singapore.

4. On 1 Nov 2019, my painting "God Will Provide" was auctioned for SG$1,500.00 and "Longevity Peony" was auctioned for SG$900.00 in Hagar Freedom Gala 2019 Charity.
