  • Biography
I’ve been making art all my life. I’ve also done other things, by necessity, passion and circumstance. I need to make things - sculptures, drawings, paintings; abstract and representational - it is the representational landscape paintings, mostly on oil, that I wish to focus on highlight here on Artfinder. Reaching an audience as wide and diverse as I have been able to on social media, and now on Artfinder, is a wonderful thing for anyone who wishes to communicate and idea or express a feeling, as artists are compelled to do. Much of my work has a strong autobiographical underpinning. My landscape work, while painted from memory and imagination, draws its inspiration directly from real places, and fixes memories and emotions in time and place. I’ve found my work to be highly emotive, communicative and inspiring to other people. I say that with a feeling of gratitude, happy that my work strikes a chord or moves another person in a substantive way.
