About Irina Ushakova
Biography
Member of Oil Painters of America (OPA)
Irina was born and raised in Russia. She studied art at Smolensk State University in Russia for 5 years (1992-1997). Afterwards, she taught art to high school students.
She moved to Cambridge (UK) in 2012 where she resumed painting after taking a break to take care of her children.
In 2016, she moved once again arriving in North Carolina in October and participated in many exhibitions while pursuing her passion for art.
Irina prefers to paint in oils and loves working in a traditional style.
