The work of Eduard  Panov is inextricably linked with the traditions of Russian realism.

Eduard Panov works a lot in the landscape genre. He lovingly paints still lifes and portraits. In his landscapes, morning and evening, the joyful expectation of the day and the slight sadness of saying goodbye to it. These two different states of nature are always solved not only by the color system, but also by the picturesque texture.

He has a clear and plastic pictorial language. The artist never deforms the subject, does not allow carelessness in the details, he does not have “common places” and not worked out areas on the canvas. Thoughtful composition, accuracy and purity of the drawing-all these qualities are the essence of his work.
